Thunder Mountain Lodge and Preserve is located just 35 miles northeast of Birmingham and is easily accessible by car or air. Fly into Birmingham International or Oneonta, Alabama Robbins Field with its lighted and paved 4,400 foot ( next to the lodge). Free transportation to and from either airfield is provided.
